The Slovak Bar Association is an independent self-administrative professional organisation associating approximately 5,600 lawyers and 2,500 trainee lawyers, established under Act No. 132/1990 and now governed by Act No. 586/2003 on the Legal Profession.
Why It Matters
This is the key regulatory and representative body for Slovak legal professionals, setting the framework for advocacy practice and traineeship in Slovakia.
